Malhar has worked in the banking industry for more than a decade in various organizations and has donned various hats which include that of a relationship manager, location head and regional head across various verticals like Small and Medium Enterprise, Corporate Banking and Corporate Real Estate.
As part of his role he has had exposure to various industries like Infrastructure, real estate, textile, oil and gas, Engineering, Jewelry, Chemicals, etc.
He is well versed with technical, legal and commercial aspects of various businesses.
He has worked with various promoters and industries across the country and has helped them in syndication/monitoring of their project loans and financial modeling/structuring of their projects. In his stint as a banker he has dealt with recovery of stressed assets, participated in Joint Lenders Forum (JLFs), attended Joint Lenders Meetings (JLMs), prepared Information Memorandum for Corporate Debt Restructuring (CDR) and has also entered into One time settlement (OTS) with borrowers.
He is an Angel Investor and is a part of Ahmedabad Angel Network (AAN) and has invested in several start-ups in the fields of retail, education and accounting.
